This notice explains SMS notifications, browser storage and how information submitted through this website’s inquiry forms is handled.
What the forms collect
We collect the contact and community information you enter, your selected services, and your message. Resident inquiries also include a unit number. Please do not include payment information, government identification numbers, or sensitive personal information.
How your information is used
Your inquiry is emailed to our team so we can respond to your request and coordinate relevant WSI services. A consulting inquiry may be handled by Waste Solution Innovators. Submitting an inquiry does not enroll you in SMS notifications or marketing messages.
SMS notifications and mobile privacy
Our service and operational SMS program requires a separate, affirmative opt-in. For resident reminders, you opt in by sending your service-and-time keyword to the number on our signup page or flyer. Residents subscribe only by sending that text; WSI does not offer a resident application for SMS enrollment. We use your mobile number, service-and-time keyword, consent record and messaging activity to deliver the updates you request, manage your preferences, respond to support requests and honor opt-outs. Consent records include when and how you opted in and the disclosure associated with that method. The website’s reminder selector does not collect your mobile number or save a subscription; your sent signup text provides the number and keyword to our messaging service. Checking the website box alone does not enroll you.
Messages may be recurring. Message frequency varies with your community’s collection schedule and service activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. We do not sell, rent or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are not sold or transferred to other organizations for their own messaging programs. Messaging and support providers may process mobile numbers and related information only to deliver and support our program on our behalf, not for their own marketing.
We retain consent and opt-out records as needed to administer the program, honor your choices and meet applicable requirements. You may request access, correction or deletion through support; some records may need to be retained to document consent or prevent further messages after an opt-out. See the SMS Terms and Conditions for program details.
Website operation
The website uses hosting and email services to send your inquiry. It does not save form submissions in a website database. To limit repeated submissions, the server temporarily keeps an inquiry reference, delivery status, and hashes of the message, email address and network address in memory. These records expire after 24 hours and are removed on the next form request or when the server restarts. Your message is handled through our email system. The site does not add advertising trackers. The private preview may require authentication provided by its hosting platform.
Cookies and browser storage
The WSI website does not currently install analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and photos are hosted with the site. Links to ApplicantPro and other WSI service websites take you to separate sites with their own privacy practices.
When you dismiss the privacy notice or choose necessary only, we store that choice in session storage for the current browser tab. If you choose to remember your settings, we also save a version and expiry time in local storage on this device for 180 days. This record contains no contact details and is not used to track you across websites. Expired settings are removed when you next visit.
When you choose light or dark mode, we store that requested display preference on this device as wsi-theme. It contains only light or dark, stays until you change it or clear browser storage, and is not used for tracking. Choosing necessary only does not reset a display preference you explicitly requested.
Pointer options save your requested cursor style and click-effect preference on this device as wsi-pointer. They stay until you change them or clear browser storage, contain no contact information, and are not used for tracking. These controls are available beside the theme switch and in the footer.
Open Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. Choose Use necessary only to remove the persistent record. Browser restrictions may prevent saving settings; you can still use the website. The private preview may use separate hosting-platform authentication cookies, which these controls cannot change.
If optional tracking is added later, this notice and the preferences controls must be updated before it runs.
